#2 - Hanuman!

In the sacred land of Kishkindha, along the Pampa river, lived Kesari, Chief Commander of the Vanara clan, and his devoted wife Anjani. Though blessed with happiness, they longed for a child. With unwavering prayers to Lord Shiva and Lord Vayu, their wish was fulfilled in a way that would change the course of history.

At this time, the gods themselves were preparing for the arrival of Lord Vishnu as Shri Rama, each blessing the Earth with divine children to aid him. Among them, Lord Shiva chose to be born as the son of Kesari and Anjani, while Lord Vayu became his spiritual father.

From this union of devotion and divinity was born Hanuman, the mighty 11th avatar of Lord Shiva and son of the Wind God. Also called Maruti, his birth was just five days after Shri Rama’s, making their destinies forever entwined.
